Our Manifesto
My mum has always had this lady (Mrs Kozak) in her phonebook that she could call when she needed home-made pierogi. She'd call her before Christmas, before having guests over or just to stock up on some easy dinner options. Mrs Kozak never had to advertise, everyone knew she made pierogi, she was the word-of-mouth pierogi person in our suburban town.
Why can't we have neighborhood perfume makers like that? For most of its history, perfumery has been a very well-guarded knowledge that was only taught in exclusive French schools. It's only been recently that this know-how has started spreading to the people through fora and other online resources. And it turns out it's not that different from cooking! Maybe except for the safety and regulatory affairs that perfumes need to go through, but this is not that difficult to learn either.
Perfumes don't need to be monopolised by big brands anymore, you can have your perumer in your phonebook too. So here we are, your local Cambridge perfume maker! Finding inspiration in the smells around us and delivering to you on a bike. Waiting for you at the local makers market with samples to try and ideas for the new blends to chat about.
From the autumn of 2025 we will also ship to other places in the UK. Just let us buy enough bubble wrap first.
